Everyone loves their dog, but in any sort of training it is easy to lose patience and lack commitment. We will help you learn the tools to build a successful and blossoming relationship with your dog!
Tacomo=Talk-uh-Moe
Some times the first question we get asked is what does Tacomo mean? I agree it is a cool sounding word, seemingly meaning something tribal or ancient. It gets attention although that was never my intention. Tacomo is a hybrid word made up of our 2 dog's nicknames. Rico Suave is my little Mama's boy, and he more often than not gets called Taco. Smorzy is daddy's little baby girl and her nickname is Mo or MoMo. Just as I'm sure some human parents have trouble spouting out which child's name they are meaning to call out, we would use TacoMo to call both dogs at once (sometimes on accident but increasingly on purpose). The name Tacomo was adorned to our Training practices to honor our dogs so they will live on forever.
Tacomo Dog Training was established in 2010 after I finished my Diploma in Dog Obedience Training & Instructing. Over the last few years we have found so much joy in working with all of the dogs and their families, whether it's basic training or solving issues. (I also worked at a dog boarding facility for over 2 years and Rick is a Groomer, so we've learned a lot about dogs outside of training as well).
